On October 7th 2023, dozens of Hamas terrorists attacked the kibbutz. The kibbutz’s emergency squad blocked most of the terrorists at the gates of the kibbutz. The emergency squad defended and saved around 200 civilian’s lives. 3 kibbutz members were murdered during the attack. The kibbutz is in need of restoration and its members are in desperate need of psychological and emotional assistance.
